Womenโs 5s ย 0 โ 1 ย Ashford L2s
Old Cranleighan Ladies 5 played really well, especially in the first half ๐ช We were super organised and worked hard the whole game.
Meg was amazing and really pushed the team on, with great support from the defence who worked so hard under lots of pressure. We had loads of chances and were unlucky not to score โ the ball just wouldnโt go in! ๐ฉ
Even though we lost 1โ0, it was not the result we deserved. Everyone gave 100%. The other team were very physical, but we matched them and didnโt back down.
Liv was awesome in the middle, winning the ball and linking play really well. Up front, Hildegard, Bernie and Jenny worked their socks off to make chances and keep the pressure on ๐
Such a strong team effort โ well done everyone! ๐๐

Puricrans ย 2 โ 2 ย Hampstead & Westminster
Another fiercely contested match with honours even, the right result. The result has made Reading’s progression to the league title that much easier but they are comfortably the best side when they select their best 15 players. Hampstead scored first from a short corner but could have been 2 up very early on but for Peter in goal who made two super saves. We equalised before half time with Rob Leach scoring from our second corner. Parity was lost with our being caught on the break, but Rob popped home our last corner to make the score two all.

Womenโs 7s 1 โ 3 ย Surbiton Sirens
OC L7s had a tough match against the Surbiton Sirens.
Surbiton scored twice in the first half and 7s couldnโt make
their chances count although there was lots of possession.
At half time, after a team talk, 7s started more brightly passing much better but conceded a goal quite quickly.
7s started to press the ball up the pitch and got a breakthrough 10 mins from the end to get a goal from Amelie.
Final score 3-1 to Surbiton and lots of learnings to take away.
