Club Mark

We are pleased to announce that we have once again achieved England Hockey’s ClubMark accreditation. England Hockey’s ClubMark is designed to set a minimum operating standard for clubs to achieve and ensure that the appropriate risk assessments, policies and procedures are in place. The reaccreditation process has been a great opportunity to refresh policies, process and review our strategy.

Special thanks Jon Heard our Honorary Secretary who managed the project on the club’s behalf and his diligence. Thanks also to our Executive and Junior Committees for their contributions. What is pleasing to know is that much of what is deemed ‘best practise’ by England Hockey is what we already have in place.

Gaynor Toms our England Hockey Club Development Manager has also provided thoughtful guidance throughout and suggested milestones to achieve over the next 3 years.

“I wanted to send my congratulations to the club on the reaccreditation and ClubMark award. The club has proven that they more than meet the minimum expected levels that England Hockey require. It has been pleasure working with the club over the last few months and I am incredibly proud of their achievement as should the club membership be. Excited to see the club develop both on and off the pitch.”  Gaynor Toms, England Hockey Club Development Manager
