“Just as you set out on your last minute Christmas shopping trip and you start dreaming of alcohol free Januarys and evenings in the gym, bear a thought for the season so far.
The 1sts are an incredible 4th in South Premier 1, the 2’s are a solid 5th in Surrey Div 1, the 3’s are second in Surrey Open League Div 2 (with a huge goal difference), the ladies 1sts are locked in a mid table contest in Surrey Ladies League Div 2, the Barnstormers seem to have found their scoring boots and are climbing up their league to 6th, and the Hamstrings are proving to be the strongest team in the club by propping up their league from the bottom! Meanwhile the Colts go from strength to strength.
All in all a great first half to the season. Thanks to all who help to keep the Club going, including the committee, the captains, coaches, umpires, JJ and his team and most of all to you the players.
